Gorshkov Mikhail Biography

Painting - the artist M. Gorshkov was born on November 20 in the city of Yelz Oryol province in the merchant family. The writer M. Prishvin wrote about the merchants of the Gorshvovs, from whose family his grandmother came from his father - Marya Petrovna: "All the gifts, ended with the gifted eccentric Mikhail Nikolayevich." His brothers Vladimir and Peter loved music and subsequently graduated from the Moscow Conservatory.

Mikhail, on the other hand, began to get involved in drawing and became a freedom of the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg since the year, studied with I. at the exhibition at the Academy of Arts in the year his painting “Zhnitsa” was exhibited.
