Valentina Aleksandrovna was born in Kyiv in the family of the inspector of the elevator and employees of the proofreading department of the metropolitan newspaper. The girl was the youngest child, in addition to her, two older sisters grew up in the family - Galya and Angelica. Valechka was a child with an aggravated sense of justice, she believed that every person should live and do as a conscience tells.

Subsequently, she wrote the almost autobiographical story “Dinka”, where she spoke about the hardships of the life of a simple working people. The prototypes of the heroes of the work were her friends and relatives: Valya herself appeared in the image of Dinka, and her sisters Angelica and Galya were embodied in the mouse and Alina.

Oseeva began training in the gymnasium of Kyiv, but because of the next move, the school had to graduate in Zhytomyr. Having received a school certificate, she passed an entrance exam at the Lysenko Kiev Institute, and became a student at the Faculty of Drama. However, soon the family had to move to Moscow, and then to Solnechnogorsk. The girl was forced to abandon the theater institute and say goodbye to the childhood dream.

Her further biography went along a completely different path. In the year, the mother of Valentina, on the instructions of the party, began work in the labor commune named after Clara Cetkin. The pupils of the commune were the gazebo girls, whose parents died in the civil war or during the revolution. One day, twenty -year -old Valya Oseeva visited her mother at work.

Talking with the pupils, she remembered her childhood and hungry, poorly dressed friends. The girl suddenly realized that her vocation is precisely this - the upbringing and teaching of children. So she became a teacher. In the later stories, stories and fairy tales, Valentina Aleksandrovna taught children compassion and good, showed them life values, lit the fire of justice in their souls.

The children's commune became a great head in the biography of Valentina Oseeva - here she worked for sixteen years. It was within the walls of this institution that her writer's talent was fully revealed. She composed for the guys short plays and stories that later turned into theatrical productions and were played out by pupils on stage. The publication of Oseeva’s works began with the story “Grishka”, which she attributed to the editor, succumbing to the persuasion of children.

The book was published in the year, and three more years later, small book lovers were happy to read stories and stories from the collection “Red Cat”. There are not so many published works of the writer, but they all live in the hearts of the readers: “magic word”, “Dinka”, “Three comrades”, “Revenge”, “Blue leaves”, “Vasek Trubachev and his comrades” and many others. In the year, the works of Valentina Alexandrovna received a high award - the Stalin Prize.
