The artistic workshop of the Oryol region at the exhibition was represented by the masters and new talents already known throughout the country - the People's Artist of Russia Givi Kalmerelidze, Honored Artists of Russia Anatoly Kostyanikov and sculptor Valery Mikheev, Honored Worker of Culture Viktor Lebedev, famous painters Yana Patokina and Alexander Nikitin, Olga Duskina and Elena Saushkina, Olga Dorokhina and others.

It is important for young roads that the large art exhibition was a continuation of the XIV Congress of the Union of Artists of Russia, at which the delegates summed up the work of the regional branches and considered a number of issues regarding amendments to the charter and other documents. It was not without reason that a decision was made to create a youth association at the Union of Artists of Russia, as it was in the Soviet Union.

I still keep a membership ticket issued to me in those distant years, ”said Anatoly Kostyanikov, a well -known Oryol painter, delegate of the XIV Congress of the Union of Artists of Russia. She has her own background. The author portrayed ... a native nephew, who heroically fights today with Bandera in the Donbass. Before us is a courageous young guy in a modern combat calculation, and nearby is a Red Army man from the distant year. They are truly worthy of their great -grandfathers, - Anatoly Gavrilovich shares with me. The picture was born after the nephew spoke about life on the front line these days.

He dug trenches with his branch, and all the time they came across the remains of the Red Army fighters: in the formidable, brutal battles for the Donbass passed. Therefore, in this work there is so much strength and truth.
