The life of the Tyumen Armenians: in what language they speak to each other, what dishes are preparing and why they play weddings for a person how the first Armenians were in our region, as today, after hundreds of centuries, their life is arranged, what holidays they celebrate and what national dishes they love to cook - in the NG report in the Tyumen region, according to NG, the capital of our region from the Transcaucasia, according to the chairman of the regional organization Armenians "Ayan" Hamlet Pashayan, has long become the second home.
Today you will learn how the life of the Tyumen Armenians works - what traditions this ancient people observe, how the Armenian -Grigorian faith differs from the Russian Orthodox and much more. Our people spent a lot of years of conscious life here, ”says Hamlet Pashayan. Many Armenians emigrated to Tyumen, as in other cities of Russia, about a century ago. In the years, the Ottoman authorities arranged the Armenian genocide, so representatives of this ancient nationality were forced to seek shelter in other countries.
This date, sad for the Armenian people, is still celebrated annually - including mourning events in our city. The second mass stage of emigration was already at the end of the eighties - the beginning of the nineties. Hundreds of thousands of people were forced to move to Russia and Armenia. By the way, the Republic of Armenia itself as a sovereign state was proclaimed only in the year.
Then, in the nineties, the Tyumen Armenians united and began to centrally promote their culture outside their native country - a public organization, which is headed by Hamlet Pashayan today, appeared in the year. Today, the Armenian family consists of eight people: parents and six children three boys and three girls. Eduard Voveyan, the eldest in the family, shared the story of how he moved to Tyumen from Armenia.
In the year, they settled in the village of Vardenik, next to Lake Sevan, ”says Eduard Voveyan, the head of the family. Then there was the Soviet Union - go wherever you want. My friend and I went to the Komsomol ticket to Tyumen. Since then I have been living here. Now Eduard Vaugan works as a general director in a construction company. His rear is a wife with whom he has been married for almost 30 years, and six children.
In the photo: the family is covered. Two daughters have already been married, one is still studying, ”Lala says smiling. In the photo: the family is covered, year. Almost all the children of Edward and Lala followed in the footsteps of their father, they study at the construction academy. Only Armen went into the sphere of applied computer science. In general, the life of the Armenian family is practically no different from the life of the average Tyumen family: they work, study, do household chores, and actively participate in city events.
The pride of the family is creative children. The older brothers, Armen and Arsen, perform folk, pop and jazz songs. In the year, they even spoke in a “minute of fame”, their duet represented Tyumen and entered the three finalists: after the performance of the guys, they even recognized on the street. They saw my children, learned that these were the same boys from the TV, and dropped the price of purchases, ”recalls the head of the family Eduard Voveyan.
Both brothers still continue to study at a music school, which they have dedicated to 12 years of their life. Soon the guys will participate in the championship, where the main prize is free training in Hollywood. In the photo: Arsen, Arthur and Armen Voveyan. The last concert program with the participation of the brothers took place in the year, in the Tyumen "InfoPark".
Many political scientists believe that this people of Transcaucasia are warriors. We always fought to stay alive. After all, we experienced more than one genocide and you know why? In the photo: Khachkar from Armenia. All children of the family are visited by the Tyumen Armenian Cultural Center, where they study the culture of Armenia, language, customs and traditions. Thus, Eduard and Lala try to instill in their children a love of the traditions of their people so that they honor and respect the culture of Armenians.
We ourselves can teach them good. Education is the task of parents, not a TV. The Armenians who have been living in Tyumen for many years communicate in a collective language: “This is a real synthesis,” says Armen Voveyan. The traditional wedding, although now the youth of the Transcaucasia and is trying to celebrate the wedding in a modern way, their wedding ceremony is still slightly different from Russian.
Nothing changes, so we are trying to combine so that everyone is good, ”says Lala. From time immemorial, this nationality at the wedding ceremony has been wearing a green tape, and the bride puts red on him - it turns out two ribbons cross on the cross. In the photo: this is how husband and wife look at the wedding of Armenians. It is worth noting that in different areas of Armenia, customs may differ from each other.
The Armenians at weddings Witness Azab - this is a person very close to the bride. Brother or best friend who wears a sword. This sword Azab protects the newlyweds so that no one will pass between them, since this is a bad sign. Azab should not be married. At the same time, throughout the wedding ceremony, he must give out sweets to all boys who want to marry. The holiday of Terendz Terendz is an Armenian traditional pagan holiday, which means "God with us." Today, he is also an analogue of the Love Day.
The celebration of Terendz is similar to the festivities in honor of the Russian Maslennitsa, but since the main faces on this day are newlyweds and lovers, it is compared with the European day of Valentine. True, Terendz, as a rule, is celebrated on February 13. In the photo: celebration of Terendz in Tyumen, February is the year of the photograph: Ekaterina Khristozov according to the head of the family, the flame symbolizes cleansing from all evil and unkind.
Such rituals are carried out to this day, sometimes even on wedding partying. The Vardavar holiday is celebrated 14 weeks after Easter. He is known for its custom with mutual dousing with water, which resembles the day of Neptune or Ivan Kupala. On this day, people are doused with water, and also give each other roses, ”Lala explains. In the photo: Vardavar’s courtyard celebration in Armenia is to observe the Armenian traditions, while living in Russia, it is completely easy.
Moreover, we are Christians, although our faith is slightly different from Russian, God is still alone. Therefore, many of our holidays are similar to the Russians, and most traditions and customs are not observed only because they do not want to observe, ”explains Eduard Vaudyan. Armenia is the first country in a world where Christianity has become a state religion. Traditionally, the historical date of the proclamation of Christianity as the “state and only religion of Armenia” in the Armenian Church itself is considered a year.
The Armenians once had a king-TRDAT, ”he told the NG journalist in prison for 14 years. Over time, Tradat's face was mutilated and became like a pig. Once in a dream, St. Gregory came to him and said: "Take the Christian faith, and get rid of your illness." When Trdat woke up, he said: "Bring Gregory to me." He was brought, after which the king was baptized and proclaimed Christianity with a state religion in Armenia.

There are no Gregorian churches in Tyumen, but the Armenians calmly pray in the Russian Orthodox. The family is Vevean believes that God is one, and everything else is already secondary. Many of Armenian dishes know Armenian cuisine. What they are - told and gave the Lala to taste.
It is difficult to imagine the Armenian table without Chortan. From Tan, sauer milk has long been prepared Chortan dry tan. Salt was added to the tan, left for a while to separate water. It turned out such dry balls: Kuft meat on hemp, many react quite sharply to the fact that hemp is included among the ingredients of this dish. But there is nothing criminal in this. Konopra has a rich history of use as a material for the manufacture of paper, clothes, shoes, ropes, ropes, cables and threads.
Oil was also made from it. We get oil from hemp, we take ground rice and millet, and cook something like cabbage rolls. This dish is cooked in juices that we get when we grind hemp. To the table, the dish is served cold. Hash Khash is like a Russian jelly, but they just don’t eat him. Be sure to call guests to the table, they collect relatives. Hash is eaten in the morning from up, such a tradition.
And they cook hash for two days. Beef legs must be carefully scorched, cleaned, jumped and washed. Then soak in the water for the night, while the water must be constantly changed.
The next day in the evening they put on tiles and boiled until the next morning. It turns out a hot meat dish, in consistency - like soup. According to tradition, if one of the guests found at least one hair in food, then the whole event loses its meaning, ”explains Eduard Voveyan.
